Since the diff is a side-by-side, it's worth noting that it's only 2/3 the 
length of the full document.

But indeed it's an example of a statistic that is objectively accurate and 
functionally misleading.

Just how onerous is it to look through that diff, enough to get a sense of the 
changes?  1/2-hour?  1 Hour?  Is that onerous, when seeking to put forward 
fundamental criticisms of months of working group effort?
