 I'm unhappy with some points in RFC 5016, and I
 still have enough of all sub-domain issues after
 the efforts in 2004, but the topic is mentioned
 in RFC 5016.

I see no #1534 in the nine IETF 71 PDF pages, and
no 1534 in the jabber log.  #1543 was discussed.
