[ietf-dkim] Resent-* handling (was: Draft minutes...)

Scott,

Two observations:

First, the point of "MUST NOT be used in the normal processing of
replies or other such automatic actions on messages" hinges on a
couple of words, notably "normal" and "such". I believe the intent
here was to say that replies should not be directed to addresses in
Resent header fields, "and other such automatic actions." In
particular, for Resent-* to work properly, an MUA must not reply to
the Resent-* addresses, ever. Replies are pretty normal. On the
other hand, I don't think that looking at who was the person who
actually sent you this message to make a decision on whether you want
to read it is the type of automatic action that the authors had in
mind.

Second, I've proposed dropping all such requirements, which if
approved will make this thread irrelevant. I would rather have you
take the time to reply to that thread than spend the energy arguing
about whether the PRA algorithm is in some way related to DKIM.

eric
