Yes; I was trying to be very terse, and obviously succeeded too well. 
The wording I usually use is "my domain put this message onto the 
Internet", usually clarifying that it could be an initial "put" or a relay.

I like "handled".  Of course, I'm sure we'd get 20 different versions of 
what THAT means too, so....
