PLEASE leave the list setup alone.

I can assure you from experience that whenever you make a config
change, within a matter of minutes you get complaints from people
assuring you that every list in the world is set up the other way,
only a mouth breathing moron would set lists up like this, you're now
needlessly wasting valuable photons by sending copies to places that
nobody could possibly want, you're a rude obnoxious jerk not to read
their minds and run your list the way they think you should, etc, etc,
etc.

If people don't like the default, they can go in and change their own
settings.  But there is no global list setup that will make everyone
happy, and it is worse than a waste of time to look for one.
