My impression is that the charter was not well accepted in Paris.
Either way though, I have pointed out specific problems that I see
with it, some directly motivated by listening in Paris, and I've
suggested some new text for discussion.
In my role as Bof co-chair, I would not recommend the aug 22 draft
if those items don't get addressed.
The particular text I suggested however, is, as I've said,
just offered for consideration and we'll end up wherever the
consensus take us. So that's done as a conributer.
